PATTAYA ONE WEEK CHARTER ITINERARY

Recommended Charter Months: November through to August. Peak Season December to February.

Located just a short cruise away from Ocean Marina Jomtien, lies an archipelago of over 25 islands spread over a 23 nautical mile radius and over 35 islands within a 60 nautical miles cruise.

Several of these islands, each with its unique charm and allure, form the perfect backdrop for a one week charter aboard Asia Poseidon. From abandoned coves to spirited coral reefs and pristine beaches, these mostly uninhabited paradise islands offer a unique charter with guaranteed maximum privacy and the high likelihood that at most anchorages we will be the only yacht there.

With numerous nearby islands to explore, you can effortlessly dedicate a whole week to discovering the splendid isles surrounding Pattaya. Yet, the allure remains that whenever you desire a change of pace and seek the excitement of one of the world’s most renowned vibrant nightlife and entertainment hubs, the mainland is readily accessible throughout most of your extraordinary week-long charter.

ONE

DAY 1

Ocean Marina Na Jomtien. We start the charter with a 1 hour 20 minutes cruise heading North West from Ocean Marina to the uninhabited island of Koh Phai which offers several bays with white sand and clear waters where there is the high possibility that we will be alone or sharing the anchorage with less than a handful of yachts. After 4 pm expect to have the chosen anchorage entirely to yourselves.

Enjoy an array of onboard watersports, mesmerizing snorkeling, a kaleidoscope of color unfolds and for Scuba Diving enthusiasts there are some fantastic shallow dives teeming with exotic marine life. Advanced divers can marvel at larger pelagic marine life near the nearby magnificent warship wreck, laying 30 meters deep just a few hundred meters off Koh Phai’s Eastern Shorelines.

TWO

DAY 2

Ocean Marina to Koh Phai. In the morning continue to bask in the paradise bay of Koh Phai. After lunch cruise onto Koh Sak or Koh Larn anchorage. After 4 pm the busy yet idyllic island of Koh Larn becomes drastically quieter as day trippers head back to the mainland. There are only around a dozen hotels on the island, so peaceful evening sundowner drinks ashore at a quaint beach bar or a stroll along the beach is often favored as the Chef prepares another sumptuous dinner for your return aboard. For those looking for some nightlife action we can easily take a short 30 minute cruise to Pattaya bay and take you ashore to iconic Walking Street.

THREE

DAY 3

Koh Phai to Koh Larn, afternoon to Koh Rin or direct to Koh Khram. A morning scooter rental adventure around Koh Larn island is an
intriguing experience, where you’ll encounter breathtaking views, winding roads, and dramatic changes in elevation. Explore the island’s diverse landscapes and discover access to a multitude of beaches and coves which may not be suitable for anchorage due to prevailing winds and wave directions.

After lunch or alternatively in the morning we cruise South West to Koh Rin island, which offers a dazzling 800 meters white powdery beach, fantastic snorkeling and scuba diving at its South coast and it’’s nearby North and South Rock sister islands. Then venture onwards to the large Koh Khram island where we can guarantee to locate a calm sheltered anchorage no matter the prevailing wind direction.

FOUR

DAY 4

Koh Khram to Samesan. A morning exploration of the deserted white sandy bays with limestone cliff backdrops at the breathtaking koh Khram. More watersports, More fun, a sublime lunch and then cruise further South-Easterly to the magnificent Koh SamaeSan archipelago. We will choose the best spot at one of the several deserted paradise Samaesan islands to continue your exquisite dream charter in utmost privacy.

FIVE

DAY 5

Samaesan to Koh Samet. A little under 3 hours cruise East brings you to the vibrant quaint island of Koh Samet – always voted as one of Thailand’s top ten islands. Here you will find an abundance of sublime beaches, restaurants, Boutique resorts and an interesting beach bar nightlife with nightly fireshows. Of course nothing beats being aboard Asia Poseidon but it’s great to have some terra firma options for when you would like to stretch your legs ashore.

SIX

DAY 6

Koh Samet and nearby islands. Koh Samet – Similar to Koh Larn it is highly recommended to hire a scooter or even an ATV to explore the island sights and the hidden beach coves that are not accessible via anchorage. The nearby short cruise to Koh Thalu offers phenominal snorkeling surrounded by colourful fish and a cave swim through. Also only a few miles away you can experience another aquatic paradise snorkeling amongst the coral reefs at Koh Kudi.

SEVEN

DAY 7

Koh Samet to Samaesan to Monkey Island to Pattaya. Departing Koh Samet we will first drop anchor at a chosen Samaesan Island for lunch. An afternoon’s relaxation before cruising onwards to Koh khram, or to Monkey island to feed and swim with the native monkeys. Afterwards we can cruise back to the charming Ocean Marina for an evening of relaxation at berth or for those looking for night time excitement we can drop anchor at Pattaya Bay and head ashore to celebrate the finale of the amazing one week charter in Walking Street.

DAY 8

Departure at Ocean Marina. We will assist you with your preferred Morning Departure transport options onwards to your next destination.
